Card work
The working approach: selecting, describing and arranging images and using them to prompt conversation.
Images become open prompts for visual exploration, perspective work and shared inquiry in professionally facilitated coaching, consulting and comparable reflective processes.
Metaphorical-associative cards show motifs, scenes, symbols or abstract imagery. A card can give a topic a visible form, make differences comparable or help explore a perspective that is not yet clearly articulated.
Meaning is not fixed in the card. It is expressed by the person viewing it, may change during the conversation and remains connected to that person's context. The practitioner asks, reflects and structures rather than diagnosing or authoritatively interpreting images.
These steps are examples, not a prescribed process. The appropriate approach depends on the issue, professional qualification, context and consent.

Open image cards whose personal meaning is neither prescribed nor interpreted automatically.
Cards may also contain questions, terms, prompts or structured tasks and may be facilitated differently.
Product content and functions in metacards that provide cards and enable visual arrangement.
In metacards, provided cards can be selected, moved, rotated, scaled and grouped on the visual canvas. Text, shapes, lines and drawings can add observations or relationships. Existing own card images can be uploaded as own decks; card motifs are not designed inside metacards.
The canvas supports shared visual work but does not interpret cards or prescribe a coaching process. A workspace can be retained in its session context and revisited later. For online or hybrid coaching, metacards is used alongside an existing video-conferencing and screen-sharing solution; metacards is not itself a video-conferencing system.

The responsible practitioner assesses whether the approach fits the issue, setting and their qualification. Voluntary participation, transparent handling of retained content and the option to reject any selection or interpretation remain central.
